Introduction
These terms and conditions ("Terms") govern your use of siacoursefinder.co.uk and the SIA Door Supervisor revision pack ("the Service"), provided by SIA Course Finder ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or purchasing the revision pack, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you don't agree with any part of them, please don't use the Service.
The service
SIA Course Finder provides an online revision platform for candidates preparing to sit the SIA Door Supervisor exam, including revision notes, flashcards, topic quizzes, timed mock exams and a progress-tracking dashboard. The Service is a study aid and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to the Security Industry Authority (SIA) or any awarding body.
Accounts
To access the revision pack, you'll need to create an account with a valid email address. You're responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity that happens under your account. Let us know immediately if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, in line with the minimum age requirement for the SIA Door Supervisor licence itself.
Payments & pricing
The revision pack is currently priced at £24.99, payable as a single one-time payment. Payments are processed securely by Stripe; we do not store your card details. Prices are shown in GBP and may change at any time for future purchases — a change in price will never affect access you've already paid for.
Access & refunds
The revision pack is a digital product delivered instantly to your account on successful payment. Because of this, by completing your purchase you expressly request immediate access to the content and acknowledge that:
- Once you've accessed any part of the revision pack, you lose the statutory 14-day right to cancel that would otherwise apply under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, as this right does not apply once performance of a digital product has begun with your consent.
- Purchases are non-refundable once access has been granted, except where the Service is faulty, not as described, or where you're otherwise entitled to a remedy under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
If you believe there's a fault with the platform or you were charged in error, contact us before your exam date — we'd rather resolve a genuine issue directly than have you rely on a formal dispute process.
Access to the revision pack is provided on a lifetime basis for as long as the Service remains operational. There is no recurring subscription or renewal payment.
Acceptable use
Your account and the revision pack are for your personal, non-commercial use only. You agree not to:
- Share your login details or resell access to your account.
- Copy, redistribute, publish or scrape any notes, questions, flashcards or other content from the platform.
- Use automated tools to access the Service or extract its content.
- Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the platform's security or normal operation.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms.
Intellectual property
All content on the platform — including revision notes, questions, flashcards, design and branding — is owned by SIA Course Finder or licensed to us, and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Purchasing the revision pack gives you a personal licence to use the content for your own exam preparation; it does not transfer ownership of any content to you.
Disclaimer
The revision pack is designed to help you prepare thoroughly for the SIA Door Supervisor exam, but we cannot guarantee that using it will result in a pass. Exam outcomes depend on many factors outside our control, including your own preparation, attendance and performance on the day. The Service is provided "as is" and we make no warranty that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or perfectly aligned with every future change to the exam syllabus, though we review and update content regularly.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SIA Course Finder is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the Service, including loss of exam fees, training costs, or income. Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.
Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, including through misuse, sharing account access, or attempting to copy or redistribute platform content. Where an account is terminated for breach, no refund will be issued.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes in the law or how the Service works. We'll update the "last updated" date at the top of this page when we do. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
