Approved Contractor Scheme (ACS)

Where a Door Supervisor can work

• Licensed premises
• Security guarding
• Retail

A Security Guard cannot carry out door supervision duties on licensed premises.

Front-line licence

Required when physically carrying out licensable activity. Front-line licence holders must display their licence unless an exemption applies.

Non-front-line licence

For managers, supervisors or directors who manage licensable staff but do not personally carry out licensable activity.
